Look, I’m a birth nerd. I love birth, birthing people, and newborns. I’m constantly reading and educating myself about perinatal health and care. And really, when you’re choosing a birth team, don’t you want the biggest birth nerds you can find? The people who love birth and everything about it?
All I want is for every birthing person have their best birth. My job is not to tell you what kind of birth you should want or what kind of birth you should have. I’m here to support your choices at every step along the way.
I’m passionate about making sure that all birthing people are respected, including people who are often left out of the conversation around birth and pregnancy, such as queer birthing people. I’m a member of the Queer Doula Collective, focused on making sure that queer people get supportive and empowering care throughout pregnancy and birth.
I’ve been helping friends and family through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and caring for newborns for over a decade. My experience giving birth and raising my own three children has been extremely useful, but I’ve also had incredible formal training as a birth, postpartum, and perinatal loss doula. I can’t wait to help you have your best birth!
